APTA Annual Creative Writing Competition

The entry deadline for this year's competition has passed.  Entries for next year's CWC must be postmarked by June 1, 2011.
Late entries WILL NOT be accepted.

APTA invites your submissions of an original composition for any solo instrument, including voice, or any combination of instruments, to the annual Creative Music Writing Competition. The categories and application fees are as follows:

Pre-Junior (Grades 1-3)	$10.00
Junior (Grades 4-5)	$12.00
Intermediate (Grades 6-7)	$15.00
Senior (Grades 8-9)	$20.00
Open (Grade Ten and above)	$25.00
*Teaching Pieces	$15.00

*This class is for students who want to try their hand at composing at a level that can be significantly lower than their performance level.
